"It is certainly a tactical timepiece. It looks fantastic and has numerous functions. One issue is that if you wear it on your dominant hand, it tracks movement as steps. I experienced this when I was hand-grinding coffee beans. I am certain that I did not take over 2000 steps in my room, where I spent the entire day. The backlight is customizable, and it features a night vision mode, but this would be most effective with night vision goggles, which most people do not have, so it is too dim for regular use. The T7 AMOLED version could not be delivered to my location, and it does offer red and green nighttime vision that can be seen with the naked eye. That's somewhat of a drawback. The T7 Pro Ballistic model comes with the software pre-installed, so if you opt for the cheaper model and don't require this feature because you don't engage in long-range shooting, you will save money. Overall, it's a pleasant watch.
Update: I've noticed that after wearing the watch for a while, it occasionally fails to track sleep. This is disappointing. I have revised my overall rating to 3 stars due to its unreliability."

The Ballistic app is outstanding, and the accuracy of the Golf app is remarkable. With excellent features like heart rate monitoring, VO2 tracking, and step counting, Garmin provides all the essentials. While it may take some time to master all the functionalities, I highly recommend the Garmin Tactix 7!

I had high hopes for this watch. It met all my criteria, was comfortable to wear, and very durable. However, the screen was excessively dim. It was manageable in well-lit settings, but in any other environmentday or nightI almost needed to use a flashlight to see what was on the screen. I hope Garmin addresses this issue in their next version!

It's impressive that I've managed without this exceptional piece of equipment for so long. Capable of tackling virtually any task, it tracks my sleep, monitors my runs, provides recovery insights, and offers strength training advice. Additionally, the model conveniently stores ballistic profiles and DOPE information, which proved accurate during my recent match. I recommend using the Range Card setting for easy switching between different ranges rather than sticking to the initial screen. Compared to my Kestrel and verified DOPE, it was merely 0.1 mils off at ranges of 800 yards or more. Overall, this device is a fantastic investment with remarkable battery life.
