- The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
- There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
- Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.

I ordered 2 of these helmets after a bad experience with another vendor. The sizing is very customizable so it should fit a wide variety of heads. The padding is memory foam so I keep it tight when first put on, then the foam compresses and it's comfortable.
Make no mistake, the shield is heavy. It's about an inch thick, but it is ultra clear and doesn't distort vision. It has to be thick and heavy to perform it's intended task.....stopping a bullet!!
The fact that everything is made in-house is also an added benefit. I love that they design, build, and retail the product. It keeps the quality standards high.

Sturdy and aesthetic helmet w/flexible size options - really fits all head sizes. Notice the screws on the outer back of the helmet that can be adjusted for better fit.
Visor pretty front heavy- would be good if helmet could be back counter-weighted to ease overall comfort
Thanks for the review! For counter-weights, we have something like this that can be added to the back. (https://www.atomicdefense.com/products/ops-core-counterweight) It's what I use on my personal setup and it works great! I replaced the weights with batteries.
