What Face Size and Shape Does This Mask Fit?
We've sold countless masks and can count on one hand issues with it fitting. It truly is a one-size-fits-all mask because of our placement for padding and spacing away from your face.
What Can You See Out of the Mask? What Is the Field of View (FOV)?
Humans have a horizontal FOV of 120 degrees (assuming two eyes and who you ask). With the mask, FOV becomes 100-110 degrees, beating the industry standard of 90 degrees.
Can My Glasses Fit Under the Mask?
Yes, glasses can fit under the mask as long as they are thin-framed or frameless. Similar-sized glasses will also fit.
Do Bulletproof Masks Work?
Yes and no. Bulletproof masks are able to stop the bullet, but the distance they are from your face will leave damage from higher caliber impacts. If you're looking for maximum safety and visibility, a helmet and visor set might be the way to go. This gives 360-degree coverage, can safely stop more rounds, and has fewer limits to visibility.
What Makes This Ballistic Mask Different?

What Is NIJ Level IIIA+ Certification and Testing?
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) sets precise performance standards for all body armor. Any safety equipment must stop ballistic penetration at a depth no greater than 44mm. Body armor receives certification for an NIJ category based on the types of ammunition it can hold to a 44m depth and the speed at which the round travels. Atomic Defense's full-face bulletproof masks exceed requirements for Level II helmets certification under NIJ standard 0106.01.

A: Full-face masks are the ideal facial protection under several circumstances. Choose a face mask over a visor attachment for a helmet OR when wearing a helmet is not an option or too cumbersome.

- The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
- There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
- Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.

Well, obviously nobody purchases these items to get shot at.....and I don't have expendable money to buy more and record myself shooting them.....but, the product came as described and the feel and fit is surprisingly nice. Field of vision is reduced but not greatly. Was able to wear a long with my loaded plate carrier for well over an hour without much discomfort. I'm sure getting lead to the face is still gonna hurt quite a bit but this will pretty much guarantee you walk away from it under your own power.

When playing dress up to get shot in the face???? THIS is the mask you want, lasts a good 4-5 shots with a .45…don’t ask me how I know

Amazing mask overall, very well built, comfortable, and highly adjustable. My only complaint is that the mask doesn’t have any small holes near the mouth to release moisture build up when breathing in the mask. The other small complaint Is that the straps on the mask sometimes loosen up after taking it on and off a few times (by like an inch/half inch) and a slight re adjustment is necessary for a snug fit. Lastly the padding inside the mask is extremely nice however I wish they used more of it throughout the entire mask which would made it more comfortable. Overall even though I wish it had a slight few changes to make it perfect it’s still a great mask made of quality material that can definitely stop a bullet. I’ve purchased one for myself and one as a gift for my friend and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in a bullet resistant face shield

This mask is awesome! It fits great and it’s very easy to see out of. I’m thinking about ordering one more for my son. The mask even comes with a bag to keep it in. Hopefully I’ll never have to use it. Glad I made the purchase! Thanks Atomic for the great face protection.
