    • No need to purchase a shipping label!  Atomic Defense will give you a pre-paid one.

      Ballistic and Bulletproof Products:

      • Most companies will not accept any returns on ballistic or bulletproof items. We offer recertification as a courtesy.

      • No need to purchase a shipping label!  Atomic Defense will give you a pre-paid one.
      • A re-certification cost of 20% applies to returns of ballistic and bulletproof products.
        • The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
        • There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
        • Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.

The watch is excellent, but the lap swimming software requires improvements.

I love everything about the watch - EXCEPT - the main reason I purchased it was to count laps for me while swimming. It is frustratingly bad at that. Garmin provides guidance suggesting a strong push off from the wall. However, the count loses anywhere from 1-3 lengths for every 10 that I swim. Adding to the frustration, is the pool at my place is small - 37'. For whatever reason, Garmin has limited the lower end of the pool size to 42'. So I set the length to be double the 37' to 74' to make it easy to track so all I should have to do is halve the distance displayed. For some reason, the watch actually quadruples the distance when tracking my swim. So while the length count is somewhat accurate; the distance displayed is right around 4X the actual distance covered. I'm not sure why any of these issues happen. The watch contains both GPS and a compass. You would think with those sensors, it would be easy for the watch to determine that you have reversed direction when swimming laps. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed in future software upgrades.
Aside from the lap swimming issue, the watch is great. The pool swimming issue aside, the software for tracking your activities and sleep is very well thought out. The integration with my Android phone is well executed. I can see incoming texts, emails, calls. I can even respond with pre-configured responses. I can mark to-dos as done. In my experience, the watch holds at least 2-3 weeks of charge (it says 24 days when fully charged.) But, unless you spend many hours a day outside in the sun, you are going to have to plug it in at some point during this period to recharge.

            Those are fantastic. Truly fantastic.

I tried a few other well-known brands, but I always ended up not wearing them anymore because they needed frequent charging. I've had these for about 10 days, and I haven't had to charge them yet, and they still have over a week of charge left. The main reason I chose them was the long battery life, and the second reason was the analog watch hands. It feels more natural to look at physical hands to tell the time. I find it easier to visualize time when looking at analog clocks. I know that digital watches can have analog clock displays too, but it's not the same. Plus, the analog hands are used in the user interface to show information and act as a gauge if needed. That's really cool. I like that the display is monochrome and very readable in direct sunlight. Actually, it's easier to read in brighter sunlight. If I were to buy another one, I would choose the same model but without the solar feature. Not because it's bad, but because it's more expensive and the charge time is long even without the solar feature, so it's not really necessary.

            A much improved Instinct

I've had my eye on this for a while, and the price was reduced for Prime Day. Garmin's common sense made the setup easy. It uses the same charger as most of their other products. While the screen isn't as vibrant, the 30-day battery life, boosted by solar charging, is impressive. It tracks a wide range of metrics, so you can customize it to your liking. I've set mine to track steps, body battery, sleep, and other basics. It's a bit bulky compared to the average smartwatch, but the form factor is great if that doesn't bother you. The way the minute and hour hands move might seem strange at first, but it becomes intuitive. The compass will need calibration, but that's something you'll know if you're using it. If you're a fan of the Instinct or other basic Garmin products, this is one that I would recommend.

            Really enjoy it.

Great battery life and comfortable to wear. The flexible settings can suit many preferences. I appreciate being able to view barometric pressure, compass, and health monitoring features such as steps and heart rate, along with the time and date. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Using it continuously for 7 months and I am very pleased with it.

I've been using the smartwatch for 7 months without any issues. It works perfectly with my Samsung 21 FE for displaying notifications. The phone app also works effectively. Although there was a moment when the hands fell out of sync with time, a simple power cycle resolved the issue. During a hike in Iceland with no cell service, while Apple Watch users experienced incorrect readings, the Instinct Crossover performed excellently using GPS without needing my phone. It accurately tracks my hikes, bike rides, and workouts. Sometimes, I need to adjust its position on my arm during workouts to ensure an accurate heart rate reading, but overall, it's a fantastic watch. I also appreciate its long battery life - it lasts so long that I don't need to monitor it closely. I'd say I only need to charge it every 2 weeks, which is impressive in my opinion. I highly recommend it. I'll update this review if any major issues arise.
